The Undergraduate Internship for Academic Credit course is a three-credit elective School of Business course designed to give students the opportunity to gain practical, professional experience in conjunction with their academic development. 

Only three credits of a 492 course earned with a C or higher may apply to a student’s major/concentration credit. If a student completes another 3 credit internship with a C or higher those credits will apply to general elective only. 292 course credit is general elective only. 

The Graduate Field Experience is an elective course in the Masters of Science in Accounting (MSA) program. You must be admitted in the MSA program to apply. Please review the course in the catalog here.

The Professional Development Experience is a required course in the Masters of Science in Management (MSM) program. You must be admitted in the MSM program to apply. Please review the course in the catalog here.
 
The internship must be completed within same academic semester or module(s) to receive course credit. No retroactive credit will be given.

Effective learning objectives use full sentences, start with an action verb, and aligns with a student’s academics into career orientated goals that correlate to the position. To ensure goals are successfully planned, it is recommended to review S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measureable, Action-oriented, Realistic, and Timely learning). Please do no copy and paste your job description into the field below.
